The Carbonne Impact

More publicized than eco-design, the Carbonne impact takes into account part of the production problem: it counts greenhouse gas emissions as a carbon footprint

The calculation of the carbon footprint must take into account primary energy and final energy. It aims to reduce the impact of emissions by reducing energy consumption.

The most delicate exercise is the calculation of indirect emissions. The carbon footprint presupposes in absolute terms that each actor in the economic chain has already established its Carbon Footprint.

Indeed, everyone can assess their greenhouse gas emissions. Its calculation was put online in 2007, by ADEME and the association Avenir climat. It allows any individual to accurately calculate his own greenhouse gas emissions, and therefore his participation in global warming, in each area of his life. The Personal Carbon Footprint calculator takes everything into account, "from buying boots to skiing holidays, heating and steaks."

Your contribution for the future

As a consumer, your business generates CO2, and therefore has an impact on the environment. Due to manufacturing conditions, the multiplication of transport, the further products are manufactured, the more their environmental impact increases. This impact is not reflected in the selling price: products made on the other side of the planet can sometimes be much cheaper.
