What is ColdWinner® fabric?
ColdWinner® is a patented fabric that has won awards for its technological innovation. Designed to withstand the most demanding conditions, it combines thermoregulation, comfort and breathability.
The outer layer acts as a natural mini-radiator. The microfibres trap body heat and redistribute it, whilst promoting the rapid evaporation of sweat thanks to the FlashDry® system. This process also warms the cold outside air, providing effective protection against the cold.
The soft, fluffy inner layer is made of polyester microfibres that wick away moisture and transfer it to the surface. This system keeps the body dry and significantly reduces drying time, even during intense activities.
How should this product be cared for?
Very easy to care for (machine wash at 40°C, dries quickly and does not need ironing).
What is this product made of?
96.3% recycled polyester / 3.7% elastane
In which season should this item be worn?
In fairly cold conditions. The double layer offers the perfect balance between insulation and breathability. It provides effective protection against the cold without ever making you feel too hot, even indoors.
Where are AKAMMAK products manufactured?
All our textiles are manufactured in France and our garments are made in the Euromed region.
The ULPA model hood is made from our thermoregulating technical textile ColdWinner®.
Its inner layer of combed microfibers offers great comfort and perfectly manages the evacuation of perspiration.
The ColdWinner® 330 g/m 2 textile, thicker than the usual textiles, provides excellent thermal protection.
Its opening prevents the formation of fog.
